Pelosi: Boehner Was ‘Projecting’ When He Called Obama Weak
Source: TPM
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said that Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) was "projecting" his own failures when he claimed that President Obama won't cut spending because he is too weak to stand up to the liberal wing of his party.
"I dont understand that because hes a gentleman, the speaker is," Pelosi said in an interview with CNN published Wednesday. "But that remark was -- I mean, it was almost as if he was projecting onto the president his lack of being able to pass any bill that created jobs since he became speaker."
CNN's Chris Cuomo clarified: "You think the speaker is projecting onto the president his own failure?"
"Exactly," Pelosi said. "Because he hasn't been able to deal with his own party. There isn't anything that he passed that we haven't' delivered the votes for him that has been job-creating."

The corporate media generally ignores Democrats as not being serious unless they are trying to guess what makes Republicans happy, which is why the media generally ignores Nancy Pelosi. But, here is Nancy Pelosi laying a smack down on John Boehner who is the last one on earth who should be lecturing the President about standing up to the more extreme elements of one's party.

(417 posts)I love this girl! She is absolutely right. Bonehead and his fellow GOP asses are so useless bastards. These guys are the real do nothing moochers and takers who give nothing back to USA. They are so undeserving, unpatriotic and treasonous mob.

(5,754 posts)Moochers and takers. Can't pass a jobs bill despite years of talking about it. That should be the Democratic talking point for weeks.

(5,610 posts)cutting spending in a "jobless recovery" is an idiotic thing to do. With regular Americans suffering from high unemployment, stagnant wages and unbelievable income disparity, cutting spending is not a priority.
Putting people to work at a living wage, ending income inequality and increasing wages are much more important goals. Not only for liberals but for the majority of Americans. Doing these things in a green matter, so that the world can survive may be considered liberal, but our future depends on it.

(104 posts)That's rich! That blubbering baby Boehner calling Obama gutless when he is so cowed by his own caucus he can't even get them to vote in his or the country's interest. He is a pathetic joke.

The other day, she said she was more worried about the Rethug who invited Ted Nugent to the SOTU than Nugent himself. Whoever has started writing her material, keep up the good work!

(429 posts)Be relentless and just keep calling Boehner out. The entire country continues to see how weak and
ineffective this speaker is. And how "his" republican congressional majority routinely stops the progress of our country. They are a disgrace to the United States Of America!!!

(32,086 posts)I heard him make that comment yesterday morning on The Toady Show, and it's a good thing for my TV set that there were no heavy objects around. The only thing I disagree with Nancy Pelosi about is her claim that Boehner is a "gentleman". Like hell he is. A real gentleman would not get on national TV, lie his ass off, and disparage other people.
