Scott Brown Joins Fox News As A Contributor

Source: TPM

DAVID TAINTOR 1:29 PM EST, WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 13, 2013

Former Sen. Scott Brown (R-MA) has joined Fox News as a contributor, the New York Times' Brian Stelter and The Daily Beast's Howard Kurtz report. Brown will make his debut on "Hanitty" Wednesday night, according to Stelter.

Politico's Mike Allen reported last week that Brown was in talks with the conservative news network. Fox did not immediately respond to TPM's request for comment.

no one can take him seriously now, and worst of all, he doesn't get it!

He really is full of hot air.

First Dennis Kucinich now Scott Brown. Wow.

And the current governor or Ohio had a weekend show on FNC during the early and mid 2000s.

I also predict Marco Rubio hosting a FNC show in the future if Rubio doesn't get the 2016 candidacy.

GOP talent is if they had to canibalize an actual politician and turn him into a pundit. I suppose they figure they'll get more mileage out of him on the tv. Pathetic.

As a Massachusetts Republican doing a pivot to shore up his bona fides with Conservative for a Whitehouse run? Or is he following in the Palin footsteps to line his pockets while the getting is good.

18. He has less credibility than Romney

In 2008, Romney was a former governor - a Republican elected in a Democratic state who had signed health care legislation. Ignoring the direction he went in 2012, he was a credible candidate who could have won crossover votes. He was also said to have another plus in being so successful in business - though closer look showed he was a real life Gordon Gekko.

Brown was a mediocre state Senator and real estate lawyer who lucked into being in the right place at the right time. He was often incoherent in Senate speeches and often delusional speaking of talking to kings and queens and speaking of how Obama and Clinton called him all the time which they denied each calling once only. In spite of being treated with puff pieces by Boston media, he squandered his main asset (that the MEDIA said he was a nice guy) other than looks by running a strange nasty losing campaign.

He also may have completely annoyed the MA GOP by waiting until he bullied them into selecting his person to head the MA GOP to drop out the next day. In addition, he may have alienated the entire party by refusing to run for a seat that they thought he (and only he) could win.

In addition, he did just ONE Sunday show soon after he became Senator - which he completely screwed up because he really did not know enough about the issues. He really is NOT well spoken off the cuff and his speeches were awful. He can get only so far on looks - and they will obviously be a diminishing asset.

in his role as legislator. It was obvious to anyone who wasn't a kool-aid drinking bagger. He is looking for his payday, and Fox will suit him well. All the little blonde's on there will titter over him like he's a rock star, and for as long as he can ride it, he will. Beats having to work a real job. Mr. Brown is just too, too pretty to work a real job.

he is most surely the male Palin. He will never try to run, he couldn't even pull off the Senate thing, let alone the presidency. I think the guy knows his limitations. He is of the Palin grifter variety, make a ton of money, and then he will ride off into the sunset.
