Doctors call for Dr David Kelly inquest to resume

Source: The Telegraph (UK)

A group of doctors which has been investigating the death of government scientist Dr David Kelly wrote to the Chief Coroner today calling for his inquest to be resumed and the suicide verdict re-examined.

In a letter to Judge Peter Thornton QC, they said there had been ''deficiencies in legal processes'' which meant Dr Kelly's inquest had never been formally closed, no final death certificate had been issued and no cause of death had been confirmed by a coroner.

They also said that the first police officer at the scene of Dr Kelly's death had changed his account of how his body was positioned, bolstering claims that it had been moved.

The doctors, led by radiologist Stephen Frost, have long campaigned for a full inquiry into how Dr Kelly died. They argue that the Hutton Inquiry, which effectively superseded the work of the Oxfordshire Coroner Nicholas Gardiner, was inadequate.

Ahhhhhh... the corpse that won't stay dead. Call me crazy, but I think the continued investigation of the "Suicide" of Dr. Kelly is what will finally bring down Bush/Cheney and all the rest of the criminal cabal that lied us into that dirty war.

This is the first I've heard of this case, and when I saw your reply the first name that came to mind as having possibly been involved was Dick Cheney.

Why would a Dr. kill himself w/ a pocket knife and bleed out and not leave any
blood behind? My best GUESS it that Dr. Kelly had found out Iraq had no biological
weapons and that did not jive w/the story that Cheney & Rummy* were selling so
he had to go.

* W, Rummy, and Cheney had a practice run through of a war w/ Iraq @ the Pentagon
in Dec. of 2000, in February and March of 2001 Dick Cheney had maps of Iraqi Oil
fields on his desk**, and then after 9/11 the Pentagon had an Office of Special Plans along
w/the White House having a White House Iraq Group both of which were dedicated to
finding reasons to have a war w/Iraq. And nothing will happen to any of these bastards
for lying us into a war.

through the cracks of history. And, collectively, it's THOSE crimes that have gotten this country into the mess we're in...starting with a president chosen by the supreme court.

4. This 'sexed-up' "suicide' stinks to high heaven of Foul Play
Mon Feb 11, 2013, 12:13 PM
Feb 2013

Damn well better investigate...now.

"The official story of Dr David Kelly is that he took his own life in an Oxfordshire wood by overdosing on painkillers and cutting his left wrist with a pruning knife.

"He was said to be devastated after being unmasked as the source of the BBC’s claim that the Government had ‘sexed up’ the case for war in Iraq.

A subsequent official inquiry led by Lord Hutton into the circumstances leading to the death came to the unequivocal conclusion that Kelly committed suicide.

Yet suspicions of foul play still hang heavy over the death of the weapons expert whose body was found seven years ago next month in one of the most notorious episodes of Tony Blair’s premiership.

Why would he be devastated by that. You'd think he would be proud to speak truth to power.

The whole thing was and is fishy. In other words it smells like a dead fish (with apologies to my ex-Wife).

I've long thought that their questions were compelling.

And apart from all the unanswered questions, his death was too convenient.

They opposed the illegal war on Iraq in office and in public. What happened to them was not very nice. "Suicides."

How about Mark Lombardi? Or James Hatfield?

They merely used their art to tell the story of Bush and bin Laden before 9/11. "Suicides."

Here's one many missed, back when Pruneface occupied the Oval Office, Robert B. Boettcher:

Know your BFEE: 1984 Death of Outstanding Congressional Staffer Buried Poppy-Moon Relationship

The governments and mass media lied the United States and United Kingdom into war. The guilty leaders remain free. And every day, it seems fewer and fewer people give a damn about it.
