Eric Cantor says undocumented children should be offered citizenship

"A good place to start is with the kids," Cantor said during his speech at the American Enterprise Institute. "One of the great founding principles of our country was that children would not be punished for the mistakes of their parents. It is time to provide an opportunity for legal residence and citizenship for those who were brought to this country as children and who know no other home."

as I doubt he wants to change party, it was probably an attempt to make his party look softer (a la Jindal or Scarborough). But he supported so many Tea Party people in the past that it is hard to believe it is more than window dressing.

Cantor, mccain, rubio, etc are all in damage control mode after the people rejected the "veto the DREAM Act" candidate.
