Rand Paul Praises Chris Kyle After Ron Paul’s Controversial Tweet

Source: TPM

PEMA LEVY 6:45 PM EST, MONDAY FEBRUARY 4, 2013

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) praised former Navy SEAL and author Chris Kyle, who was fatally shot in Texas Saturday, in a statement to Breitbart.com Monday after his father, former Rep. Ron Paul, posted a controversial tweet about Kyle.

“Chris Kyle was a hero like all Americans who don the uniform to defend our country," Paul told Breitbart.com. "Our prayers are with his family during this tragic time.”

Here's Ron Paul's original tweet, which Breitbart.com called "despicable":

Chris Kyle's death seems to confirm that "he who lives by the sword dies by the sword." Treating PTSD at a firing range doesn't make sense

Their both crazy but the son still has presidential ambitions so he has to smooth over what issues from the old man's mouth.

Ron Paul is basically an old loon, but he does sometimes say things in public no other politician dares even whisper in private.

The CT mom did the same thing with her dysfunctional son - took him to a firing range for 'socialization'.

How 'bout a hiking club, or volleyball league, or bowling, etc?

I do equine therapy - vets are getting into it. Not sexy enough Mr. Seal? Too hard, the long, slow, slog through real therapy?

You lost your life trying to help out, however misguided, sorry for that.
