Biden Sworn In For Second Term

Vice President Joe Biden took the oath of office at 8:21 a.m. ET Sunday, according to a White House pool report. The ceremony took place at the vice president's residence at the Naval Observatory with his family. He was sworn in by Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

President Obama will be sworn in around 11:55 a.m.

Mr. Biden is an amazing man; and Mr. Obama is all the more amazing for having chosen him for V.P.
I feel it was a PERFECT decision, I believe they complement each other in very important ways.

Vice President Biden is such a gracious, caring man. He thanked Justice Sotomayor, apologizing for possibly delaying her train trip to NY (for a book signing), hugged his family, and welcomed his friends, who he greeted on the way out. Then he left to go to the wreath laying ceremony at Arlington with President Obama. For me, we are fortunate indeed to have these two at our country's helm.

Before this last campaign I didn't know much about him but I really admire the guy for his service.
