Obama to Appear on ‘Meet the Press’

Source: The Daily Beast

The president has not appeared on the show in three years. He will be interviewed by the show's moderator, David Gregory, who had been on vacation following an investigation by Washington, D.C., police. Even more nail-biting? The interview is set to air just hours before the fiscal-cliff deadline.

I predict that a contingent of people here will complain that David Gregory is a RW-shill, and another contingent will complain that something the President says means that he's "caving" to the Republicans.....

I mean come on, they let Bush 2 skate through most of his two terms and have been letting the republicans get away with far to much for decades without really confronting them with the facts that expose them as the liars that they (the republicans) are.

meeting with the leaders he told them as much. I'll bet he also said that what he says on the show will be a report on their progress. I'll bet he also threatened the SOTU address and Inauguration speeches as vehicles to destroy them.

Was a bit defensive about the media's role in not calling things as they really are, aka, claiming to be balanced in a situation that is entirely unbalanced.
