President Obama will ask Democratic National Committee members to re-elect Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) as chairman when they meet in January, a top Democratic source confirms to TPM.
The president's intentions were revealed by Mike Allen in Politico's Playbook.

(43 posts)Love to see DWS team up with Van Hollen to get the House back in 2014. We only need to flip 17 seats.
Right now we should be pouring over all of the 2012 numbers district by district.
Find the 30 most vulnerable Repub House members.
Then, go into those districts and recruit the best possible Dem challengers.
Then, fund them to the hilt and start attacking the REpubs relentlessly until Nov. 2014.
Then, have Obama, Biden, and Clinton campaign like hell for them in the summer of 2014.
To get TRUE meaningful progressive change, we must control both houses and end the Senate filibuster. my $.02.
