Biden's Lead Grows In New Poll

Source: Meidas Touch

A new poll released by Marist has demonstrated that President Biden's momentum is growing in the polls. The new poll, which observed 1,047 registered voters across America found that in a head-to-head with Donald Trump, President Biden leads by a 3% margin, at 51% versus Trump's 48%. Significantly, when the poll brings in the likely third-parties, including Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Biden's lead grows to 5%, with him earning 43% of the vote, Trump earning 38% of the vote, and Kennedy earning just 14% of the vote.

This is President Biden's largest lead in the Marist poll to date, and comes at a critical moment in the presidential campaign.

While President Biden is leading the nation, handling America's national security apparatus, Donald Trump is currently spending time inside the courtroom as opening arguments have begun in Trump's criminal trial.

My gut feeling is we typically poll better with all voters, but things tighten up when the sample is narrowed to "likely" voters, especially in Presidential elections. I assume because Dems usually get a lot of support from young voters who may not meet the criteria to be "likely" voters.

“Is Biden Peaking Too Early?”

I could do this all night.

Actually, Biden looks on track to continue winning. TSF has to face his own music.

and I bet a lot of Americans feel the same way regardless of what Fox News says about inflation and the border.

The poll shows Kennedy taking more votes from Trump, as I expected. Those 2 overlap on the issues that crazy people care about. And RFK Jr is the youngest of the 3 of them at 70 if that matters to some idiots.

I still am putting a hold on reacting to poll results until Biden goes into full campaign mode.
He's running against a guy who's been campaigning non-stop for 9 years.

Kennedy is just a stalking horse being paid by some oligarch to hurt Biden's chances.

....he's just another narcissist who wants to feel important. if he were trying to help trump, he'd be his running mate and put the kennedy name on the ticket (i would bet he was on trump's short list)....if that happened, i'd be worried.

i really was hoping biden would step down gracefully and let a younger dem step in months ago. i'm still worried. i know biden is together enough for the job, but the perception isn't there with a substantial chunk of voters and we need turnout. campaigning is gonna take it's toll on him...i'm just praying that he holds it together and, also, that trump gets knocked down or out, late in the campaign by his legal troubles or something. one thing that has started to even out the race is that trump's age is catching up with him....his age along with the stress of his legal and financial troubles is hurting him for sure.

i know we say every year that "this is the most important election in our lifetime".....well this year it really is. we've had so many chances to drive a wedge right down the middle of the fracturing GOP and we haven't been able to do it. i don't know what it's gonna take.

...as moderate GOP trump voters migrate there. it's likely what kennedy is hoping for. the hard core emotionally ill MAGAts will stay with trump and biden will cruise to an electoral landslide. this is a scenario i would love to see.

I just find it hard to believe that he could get up to 14% of the vote, even with tsf convicted.

i think independents are dissatisfied with the choice between two really old guys and say they are leaning toward RFK. i don't think all of them will actually vote for him tho. i do hope that moderate GOPers vote for him as a protest to trump. i'm also really interested to see what nikki haley does with her support. i sure hope the biden people are in talks with her right now. her supporters alone would sink trump, if she does the right thing.

I do not expect Haley to back Biden, it would be too unrepug of her. Maybe she will surprise me, that would be wonderful, but I doubt it.

I definitely think if tsf gets a conviction, there will be independents and moderate R's (the very few that exist) who will bolt.

As long as Biden ends up president, that is the key thing.
