1. But a 3rd party candidate can twist left, right, rural, urban, male, paranoia

at the last minute. He can tweak and cause damage. Andersen 1980 did damage not just to Carter-Mondale, but devastated Congress too. And Ross Perot aimed straight at Bush. So don't tell me RFKJr is benign. One lunatic in the race is enough.

...and what matters is who he pulls more from in the various swing states. (ETA: As Funtatlaguy was saying, who posted in the interim!)

5. Polling? No, just one poll

There was a poll a week or two ago (from a different pollster) that showed the exact opposite.

RFKjr must be crushed and destroyed.

This race must be clearly a two candidate race, with no viable Ross Perot imitator.

Biden v. Trump: 51 v. 48

In a 5 way race:
Biden (43%)
Trump (38%)
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (14%)
Cornel West (2%)
Jill Stein (2%)

Trump loses 10, Biden loses 8, and it's more likely that the West and Stein votes came from Biden, so Kennedy probably took nearly 10 from Trump.
