'NCIS' Actor Arrested for Allegedly Storming Capitol on Jan. 6

An actor who made appearances on NCIS, The Rookie, and Devil’s Night was indicted Thursday on misdemeanor charges stemming from him entering the U.S. Capitol through a broken window on Jan. 6, 2021.
Nolan Freeman, of Nevada, is accused of entering the Capitol around 2:23 p.m., at the height of the riot, and leaving 28 minutes later. His indictment didn’t detail specific actions he made inside the building, but noted he wore a red hoodie, a black jacket, and a red hat.
His indictment, first reported by Politico, included seven photos that allegedly showed Freeman inside and around the Capitol, surrounded by supporters of Donald Trump. Those images were taken from security footage and a YouTube video that was posted with a title that promised to give viewers an “EXTREMELY close up view” of the riot, prosecutors said.
Freeman stands accused of charges faced by nearly ever suspect arrested in connection to the riot—obstruction of an official proceeding, and knowingly entering or remaining in the grounds of a government building without lawful authority to do so. He has also been accused of using “loud, threatening, or abusive language” to “disrupt the orderly conduct of a session of Congress.”

... entering the US Capital building in a broken window during an insurrection, or even a riot - who could know that might be a crime?
He was just doing some research for his job. He is a method actor and needed to immerse himself in the experience of a bad guy. He would have stopped at actually killing someone.
I know it was mentioned upthread but that "Shaman" guy (Jacob Chansley) was reportedly seeking work as an actor (after being kicked out of the navy for his anti-vax behavior) and that was often mentioned about him too.

There are hundreds of character actors out there like that (including one who just passed away) who might appear in "one episode" of a show. But if that show is "popular" or "well known", then that often gets highlighted in any articles about them.

I.e.,. Walsh's part was small in "Blade Runner", as was a fave actor of mine - Edward James Olmos, who played "Gaff".
The "main" characters in "Blade Runner" were Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer & Sean Young.
then it most certainly does imply that.
The headline for this article just says "actor", NOT "star of".
But I know that we are in a silly argument about a criminal who belongs in jail, no matter where he worked! 
but somehow didn't expect to be investigated for his crimes
