(CNN) — The rollout is underway for Opill, the first over-the-counter birth control pill approved in the United States, and online sales begin Monday morning, according to drugmaker Perrigo.

Consumers can start ordering Opill online Monday, and orders will be fulfilled within a day or two, Sara Young, senior vice president and chief consumer officer at Perrigo, said in an email. So far, the product will be available at Opill.com and Amazon.

“Because privacy is important to Perrigo, Opill orders will be sent in plain, unbranded boxes,” Young wrote.

Opill has a suggested retail price of $19.99 for a one-month supply, $49.99 for a three-month supply, and at Opill.com, a six-month supply will be available for $89.99.

But we hate Amazon.

Try to adjust.

IIRC, “obscene” included pamphlets about reproductive health and contraceptive devices. Margaret Sanger got jailed for that in 1914, over a century ago.

I didn’t see anything on Amazon about their self-policing themselves and not mailing contraceptives to states that want the USPS, a federal agency, to not deliver such items. So we shall see if a plain brown wrapper sets off the Talibangelicals.

I never liked the meme about “going back to the 1950s” — Dobbs enabled states to go much further back than that, and they began immediately.

We get to do it much more often. May be why we're so much happier than the MAGA crowd.
