Twins in Petraeus scandal took photo with Rubio

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) -- The host of a fundraiser for Sen. Marco Rubio says the twin sisters involved in the David Petraeus scandal crashed one of Rubio's campaign fundraisers.

Angelette Aviles hosted the fundraiser in 2010. She said Thursday that the twins, Jill Kelley and Natalie Khawam, came to the party uninvited, took their photo with Rubio and quickly left without donating money to his Senate campaign. Aviles posted a photo of the twins with Rubio on Twitter.

A Rubio spokesman says the senator doesn't recall meeting the twins and added that Kelley has invited him to parties but he never attended. An attorney for Kelley did not return a phone call.

The FBI says Kelly received threatening emails from Petreaus' mistress, who apparently saw her as a romantic rival.

The KelleyPatrol message warned Allen to stay away from Kelley at an upcoming event at an ambassador's residence in Washington...

After that, Broadwell sent messages to Kelley and her husband Scott, asking him if he was aware Kelley would be meeting then-CIA director David Petraeus the next week. That's what got the shirtless FBI agent's attention, because it was clear KelleyPatrol knew the schedules of Allen and Petraeus. Maybe they were being stalked?...

Kelley's parties might have been lavish, but she was strict about her guest list...keeping it to generals and admirals. "A colonel is about as low as she'd go," an officer who served at Centcom told the paper. Kelley was stripped of her pass to get on post Tuesday.
