Sources: Colo. man plotted to kill children, president

Source: 9News - Denver

DENVER - 9Wants to Know has learned a Colorado man is in federal custody after plotting to kill President Barack Obama and kill children on Halloween night in Westminster.

Sources tell 9Wants to Know Mitchell Kusick's plan involved stealing a family member's shotgun and using it to shoot children on Halloween and assassinate the president in Colorado.

Officials do not know when he wanted to kill the president.

The restraining order filed in Jefferson county court says Kusick "stole a shotgun from his aunt's house, hid the weapon, attempted to purchase ammunition for the gun" and then told his therapist about his plan.

You see, when Democrats protest legally, say at a campaign rally for the former "president" dubya, they get escorted out, arrested, etc.

republicans on the other hand, merely threaten the life of the President, and it's laughed off. Ha Ha Ha.

How about embracing the public interest in legalizing pot, taxing it at the Fed level, and refunding mental health services and addiction services for anyone who needs it...FFS How much more Democratic could a plan be.

or does anyone older than 40 remember crap like this? Remember when a big deal was a fist fight in the high school parking lot? Sigh.

I can think of many more examples that came close to succeeding (ie got a weapon anywhere near a high official) from that era than I can in this one.

but I do remember reading about a few things.

Kennedy was assassinated, Reagan had a guy try to shoot him to impress Jodie Foster, a guy with a pistol loaded with blanks got arrested and claimed he was part of a plot to assassinate Carter, one of Manson's followers tried to shoot Ford but didn't know enough about guns to chamber a round.

We've always had this kind of thing and likely we always will.

Let's see, Alex claimes the NWO was building pyramids in the Carribean with fiery pits on the top to throw the Christians in, or be sent to FEMA death camps to be tortured to death by the CIA. And some of the others believe the aliens are going to drink innocent blood, etc.

Guess that might make some of these cults believe killing their kids was more merciful.

Beck pretty much said the same and then some, and Fox has people like Huckster Berry up there, saying all kinds of horrible things will happen. The rest say that the 'blah's and Mexicans under the order of Obama will come and get you out of your bed and drag you away.

Strange thing is, I live in a diverse neighborhood and have seen no signs of this happening. Oh, yeah, that's right, I'm a godless Democrat, so the Satan worshippers are gonna let me go.

Okay, then... Sure am glad this one is gettting help.

like this have a constitutional right to buy as many guns and as much ammo as they can afford. Plus be able to take their loaded weapons into malls, bars, churches and schools.

Time is past to recognize that the first amendment does not protect murderous threats.

the first amendment doesn't protect murderous threats for a while now. That would be why he's in federal custody. He got arrested for threatening to kill people.
