Brewer Says Immigration Reform ‘Fine And Dandy,’ Office Walks Back Statement

Source: TPM

Arizona Republican Gov. Jan Brewer said Republicans' push for immigration reform after the election is "fine and dandy" during an appearance on Arizona's weekend show "12 News Sunday Square Off" that was taped Friday, according to the local NBC station. Brewer's comments seem to contradict her previous stance that reform should come only after securing the border.

But after the interview, Brewer's spokesman Matt Benson clarified to the station that Brewer still believes securing the border should come before reform.

Brewer also said she was leaning toward accepting federal dollars to expand the Arizona's Medicaid, part of the Affordable Care Act. Benson walked back those comments too, saying she was probably referring to using federal money to end a Medicaid enrollment freeze at the moment, not expand the program.

The Secretary of States who attempted to suppress the vote are under surveillance such as Colorado's Gessler who is being investigated for misappropriation of funds. The governors who are willing to cut off medical services are fools.

She doesn't have the slightest idea what she thinks. Actually, it sounds like she doesn't think, she is merely a puppet and someone behind the scenes is pulling her strings. I guess the strings broke temporarily and she accidentally told the truth until her puppet master corrected her correct statements. What a messed up state. When is the election for that office? Whoever runs on the Dem ticket, I will work for them from California. I've had quite enough of this nonsense out of our neighbor. I can't even go there for a visit because the place offends me so and I refuse to spend one dollar there until things change for the better and the racists are put out and no longer running things. And I so want my 8 year old to see the Grand Canyon.
