Suspected gunman in custody after Atlanta church shooting

ATLANTA (Reuters) - A former employee at a suburban Atlanta megachurch was taken into custody on Wednesday, only hours after he allegedly walked into the church with a gun and opened fire, killing a man leading a prayer service, police said.

Multiple gunshots rang out in the chapel of the World Changers Church International in College Park, Georgia, around 10 a.m.

The suspected gunman was identified as Floyd Palmer, a 52-year-old former church maintenance worker who resigned from his job in August, said Fulton County Police Corporal Kay Lester.

Palmer was arrested in an Atlanta shopping mall, nearly six hours after the shooting, said Jeff Foley, a spokesman for the U.S. Marshals Service.

Doesn't sound very progressive to me. We had that at one time. I believe we now label that period "The Dark Ages". A good description of life then was "nasty, brutish and short".

6. Oh but humans NEVER killed each other before guns.

All of those deaths by edged weapons, spears, arrows, crossbow bolts, clubs, sticks, and stones never happened.

We just all used to sit in the shade, holding hands, snacking on nuts and berries before the EVUL gunpowder was invented.

Even if every gun was picked up and destroyed, people would revert back to killing each other with edged weapons, and then people like you would be crying

"We have to do SOMETHING to get all these knives and swords, off the street!"

2. MEGA CHURCH NUT CASE?

I do not understand how a person who is associated with a mega church could do something so EVIL? I would also like to know why the person's employment in August was changed? It all goes to prove that the RULER of this world is SATAN who does affect both big and little religious organizations that focus on MONEY.........
