But the debate still did very well, which is great given how many people we needed to see Obama destroy Romney.

Couldn't bear to. Didn't want to jinx the President. Instead, I 'watched' through DU's eyes, cheered along and sent good vibes every step of the way!

since debates are for "those who haven't made up their minds yet", after the 3 so far, if someone still hasn't made up their mind, they're a ninny.

Anyone who hasn't been keeping up, should be ashamed. This is about hanging on to what fragments of our Democracy we have left .. Still too many apathetic uninformed citizens we live with. How can we get people in this country to participate in the process? This is why we have a majority of Republicans in the House and a Supreme court stacked against the working men and women in this country.

the way their emotions dictate, not the way reason in light of their own economic situation should dictate.

if someone saying "marxist, kenyan, no birth certificate releasing, unamerican", then guess what emotion they're building their entire decision on? If the least someone can say is "fear", then a scared person should stay the eff at home on election day. Cowards don't belong in a voting booth.

I have to admit that I stopped watching the first debate after about 45 minutes, when I realized that Obama was not going to get into gear. This debate was far more exciting and more interesting.
