Former Walker aide Rindfleisch enters guilty plea to misconduct

Kelly M. Rindfleisch pleaded guilty Thursday to felony misconduct in office for doing campaign work at her government job as an aide to Gov. Scott Walker while he was Milwaukee County executive.

She first tried to plead no contest to the charge, but Circuit Court Judge David Hansher rejected that.

"It's either guilty or not guilty," Hansher said. Rindfleisch quickly retreated and pleaded guilty.

The deal exposes her to a sentence of up to 3½ years in prison and a $10,000 fine, although prosecutors agreed to recommend probation and jail time, not prison. She'll be sentenced Nov. 19.

3. Rindfleish's attny "asked the Judge if he would wait until Nov. 7 so Rindfleisch can vote"

When it came time to enter her plea, Kelly Rindfleisch said she wanted to enter a plea of no contest , Judge Hansher said he wouldn't accept that and that it's not appropriate in this case. Rindfleisch then changed her plea from no contest to guilty on the felony misconduct charge. After Rindfleisch changed her plea, Judge Hansher told Rindfleisch that she is now a convicted felon, and will not be able to vote or carry a firearm.

Rindfleisch's attorney then asked the Judge if he would wait until Nov. 7 so Rindfleisch can vote in the upcoming election, Judge Hansher rejected that request. It appears that Walker's former top aide will serve some time in jail along with probation. She is scheduled to be sentenced November 19, 2012.

Jerk. Wish the whole lot of them could serve time in orange jumpsuits on some island in the middle of Lake Michigan.

BULLCRAP. Now Walker skips out of testifying again. Slimy, slimy, slimy. I wonder how he/the Kochs managed to talk her into that.

Of course, if she's willing to do hard time just to save Scotty from having to testify, he MUST be hiding some serious shit.

Geez.

It means Beef.

Except, this being German, the strictest translation would be Cowflesh.

I always pronounce it as a German word and no one knows who I am talking about. Not sure HOW one pronounces it in English, actually.
