Biden transition team shapes up with Obama-Biden alum hires

Source: Politico

On the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, the Biden transition team announced a long list of new hires, advisers and co-chairs to lead the effort to staff up a potential administration.

“This is a transition like no other, and the team being assembled will help Joe Biden meet the urgent challenges facing our country on day one,” said former senator and longtime Biden aide Ted Kaufman, who is heading up the transition team.

The new group provides the most insight so far into how a Biden administration would look — a mix of the left and the center with many veterans of the Obama administration, particularly those who served in the vice president’s office.

On the advisory board, for example, the president of the liberal think-tank The Roosevelt Institute, Felicia Wong, is paired with the more moderate, technocratic Pete Buttigieg. A Republican is on the board with Bob McDonald, the secretary of Veterans Affairs during the Obama administration and the former CEO of Procter & Gamble.

This is not going to be the amateur hour transition you saw under Trump. The Nation is in crisis, and Biden needs to pick a team that can hit the ground running from Day One from a hostile administration.

as I am through and through, I understand this country is not made up of progressives or conservatives only and the president is everyone’s not just , left leaning progressive democrats’ , he has to govern for everyone. As long as his aides and people working in his administration believe, in the Constitution and the rule of Law ( real rule of law).

nothing but burning rubble if he loses. The fucking moron will purposely fuck up as much as possible for the next POTUS. They may even set some "traps".

Traps, definitely a tRump characteristic and several of his pure evil minions too like Miller...Biden needs "boots on the ground, day #1"...so experience is a requirement....Good thinking ...

And Air Force One, Marine helicopters, and any ground vehicles used by Trump or anyone in his family or closest staff. Trump was incensed that anyone might have recorded his conversations, no doubt because he’s done it himself. He wants another in-person meeting with Putin, at which Putin could give him the latest in Russian technology.

Someone in the White House also needs to guard the artwork to ensure he doesn’t walk out the door with it.

like Jeffrey Epstein did. All the bedrooms, closets, bathrooms all had monitors and were being taped 24/7.

I expect him to take anything of real value and have it replaced with cheap copies and forgeries.

I just read this on Judd Apatow's twitter....

I expect we’ll see a tremendous amount of activity from the Biden admin.

It’s funny that they consider Buttigieg a moderate. While he may hold some moderate positions, I am glad that moderate is becoming defined as left of center.
