Biden Turns Attack Dog on Romney Day After Debate

Source: ABC OTUS News

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa - One day after President Obama delivered what was by all accounts a lackluster debate performance, Vice President Joe Biden went on the attack against Mitt Romney, delivering zinger after zinger against the GOP nominee and his running mate, Rep. Paul Ryan.

Biden drilled into the former Massachusetts governor on Medicare, saying the governor has changed his position on Medicare so many times that the "public is gonna have collective amnesia" if it believes Romney over "those of us who spent our entire careers protecting and fighting for Medicare."

"Now, they've got a new plan. They've got a lot of new plans. Matter of fact, it's hard to … keep up. It really is hard to keep up," Biden said at the Mid America Center, adding, "I think it's even hard for them to keep up."

The vice president highlighted the lack of detail in Romney's debate answers, saying, "It's bad enough that Gov. Romney won't release the details of his tax returns. Now he won't even release the details of what he plans on doing about your taxes. Seriously. last night the governor walked away from the centerpiece of his economic plan."

President Obama must have been shell shocked at the Numbers of pure Mitten's lies. How could one keep up. He had better finally get mad. For all our sake's. Enough of this passive we can all get along crap. We have met our enemy who will put us all into Ayn Rand's dream solution.. Poor houses for we moochers..
It will be on Joe Biden's shoulders to keep in order Mitt's / Ryan's lies.. His coach is Rep. Chris Van Hollen, ranking member of Ryan's committee.. We will hope Van Hollen will help put the Veep into attack more so than Obama's debate coach, John Kerry did the President.

"Named for the debate tactic created by creationist shill Duane Gish, a Gish Gallop involves spewing so much bullshit in such a short span on that your opponent can’t address let alone counter all of it. .."

I trust that the President and his staff have an equally effective antidote and I look forward to watching it in action at the next debate.

They want to see how incompetent their candidate can be, saying the most outrageous things and taking some of the craziest positions, while retaining a voting base between 40-50 percent. I think they want to see what they can get away with before that base leaves them.

They have not found that point yet. At least not around where I live. In a neighboring county, there are Romney/Ryan signs everywhere. I've said for years that the Republicans could have a Hitler/Stalin presidential ticket and that county would overwhelmingly back the ticket.

and that scares the bejeezus out of me. Please Biden, clock this mfer right in the jaw with some righteous anger and knock his ass off message. Obama was hamstrung by the 'angry black man' narrative. You aren't. Choke the life out of this doe-eyed lying bastard and then kick his corpse off the stage.

The American people are being played for fools and you need to explain that to them in terms a child could understand. Bring examples. Use them. That feeling you get when you're lied to is universal. Make them understand they are being lied to.

I know Biden scares hell outta some of the mainline Dems because they are scared of what he might say. I gotta say, however, I think Biden is an absolute master at speaking on the emotional guts of an issue and at being direct (dare I say BLUNT?) when other pols aren't. Hearing that he was out and on the attack the day after the debate gives me a bit of a chuckle 'cause I honestly think that more often than not Joe gets sent out to do the "dirty work" for the campaign. If the campaign doesn't want Obama dragged into the mud fest they put Joe out there--and Joe seems to thrive on it.

I'm looking forward to the Biden -v- Ryan debate because I think Joe has the experience and skills to do the debate, but more important he's got the stones to just lay into Ryan when he catches him lying.

Ryan is a slimy little prick, but Joe's old school "bare knuckles politics." I'm betting Joe will be able and willing to kick some ass.

Obama had a bad day at his debate but I'm sure he will bounce back but Biden? Biden embarrasses Obama on a weekly basis, I'm afraid he, Biden, will be embarrassed on the debate. I don't think Biden did very well with Palin and she is an idiot.

Biden destroyed Palin with a velvet glove. Otherwise he would have been "beating up on a wimmin."

Now he can go in with brass knuckles.
