Report: Obama Hauls In Record $150 Million In September
Source: TPM
President Obama's campaign set a monthly record for the 2012 cycle in September, hauling in $150 million, according to the Wall Street Journal:
The September total far surpasses the $114 million raised in August, when the Obama team snapped a three-month streak in which it was outraised by Republican challenger Mitt Romney. At the time, the $114 million was the most the Obama campaign had collected in any one month in the 2012 election season. The most the Romney campaign has collected so far was $111 million in August.

(8,515 posts)However, it looks like a lot of us did just that. I will contribute another small amount in a week or so. I am so glad that so many of us care about supporting our President. It must mean a lot to him personally that so many, who are so broke, care enough to share their small amount of money with him. GO, BIG BIRD! Yellow up people! Get t-shirts in big bird yellow and wear them everywhere. Let's send a message to the rich and powerful, who think they own us as well as this country.

[font color="navy" face="Verdana"]I know many people have been giving larger amounts and more frequently than ever.
My budget's been blown the last 3 months in a row because I've been giving every payday, again when grocery shopping was done, and again when bills were paid and I knew how much I had left to get through to the next payday.
The pinch is downright sweet when I know so many others are doing the same, and the results say that LOTS of us are giving every last bit that we can.

(22,000 posts)I missed the deadline by two minutes, so my donation wasn't part of that.
Anyone have an idea when Romney's numbers come out?

(19,095 posts)In the wake of the 1st debate, I think it's a good reminder that it's time to donate. $10, $25, $50, or more, it's these small donations by the people that make the difference for Obama.

Check the SuperPAC numbers. Seems like Romney's supporters have shot their load as Obama's outspent him for the past 7 weeks.
