Biden, leading Trump by eight points, also has a big advantage with undecided voters: Reuters/Ipsos

Source: Reuteres

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Democratic candidate Joe Biden leads President Donald Trump by 8 percentage points in support among registered voters, and the former vice president appears to have a significant advantage among voters who are undecided, according to a Reuters/Ipsos opinion poll.

The July 15-21 poll found that 46% of registered voters said they would back Biden in the Nov. 3 election, while 38% would vote for Republican Trump. The remaining 16% are either undecided, plan to support a third-party candidate or may not vote.

Reuters/Ipsos polling in 2016 found that support was evenly split that summer between Trump and then Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton among registered voters who had not backed a major party candidate. On Election Day, Trump won a majority of voters who said they decided in the final week.

This year, the poll found that 61% of undecided or third-party registered voters said they would support Biden if they had to choose, while 39% would vote for Trump.

If trumps secret police cause enough chaos on election day, we could lose millions of urban votes.

We need as wide a majority as we can possibly find.

He is effectively threatening mail in votes since he has control of the postal service. He can shut down entre precincts under the guize of riot control. He can tie up state certifications to the electoral college.

And that is just the start. He is going to carpet bomb us with crap from the ukraine and china about the bidens. All the trolls are still out there and nothing effective is being done to prevent vote tampering by hackers.

This a war for the soul of this nation and we are undergunned.

His lead has to be double digits accross the board, and then we need to widen itl

I believe that at THIS point, there are no undecided voters. If they haven't decided after all the shit the turd (sorry to be redundant) has put out there for them to "decide" over, we should just assume they will vote to continue to swirl around the toilet bowl.

"Undecideds" are mythical unicorns. They "decided" their orientation long ago, they just have no intention of coming out of the closet. Sad. Bigly.

we need massive turnout and every vote counts. They are going to try to discourage or suppress votes as much as they can.

were influenced by the headlines about Comey's letter?

"Trump won a majority of those...who said they decided in the final week."

James Comey secures his place in history as the man who pulled Trump over the threshold.

Even then, trump will probably throw a fit, but won't have a leg to stand on.
