Trump seeks to tie Biden to Sanders

President Trump on Wednesday sought to tie former Vice President Joe Biden to Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), attacking the plan developed by their unity task force and falsely claiming it includes "Open Borders."

"Has anybody seen or reviewed the written 'pact' between Bernie Sanders & Sleepy Joe. It is further left than even Bernie had in mind," Trump tweeted Wednesday morning. "Open Borders, crime, really bad to cops and military - The guaranteed destruction of America. Joe never told us this. Never been so CLEAR!!!"

Sanders, a former 2020 presidential candidate and self-described democratic socialist, has come under attack by the president and his allies as the "radical left" since Trump took office in 2016.

Trump has increasingly sought to portray the former vice president as in thrall to the Democratic Party's left wing, telling Fox News's Sean Hannity last week that Biden has "been taken over by the radical left."

Graham has all ready started to mix the two. He hasn't really started
to show many ads but they are trying to mix the two. Graham has also started
to break with Trump on a few issues just in time to start his run against Harrison.
I like Harrison's ads, both shows what Graham hasn't done except attack Harrison then
then presents a positive side of himself which is nice. Hope Harrison gets in the senate, it
is going to be an up hill battle. 538 is showing a neck in neck race, 42 to 42 as the end of

All the young people I know loved Bernie.

17. On July 14th Sanders was interviewed on PBS, about him moving the Biden platform to the Left.

Only two things were mentioned. So much for "further left than even Bernie had in mind."

One was that Bernie's influence on the task force got Biden to change the timeline for clean energy and the other was truly bizarre. The interviewer said, "You did get him to commit to a government run public option." Then she asked if this was enough for his supporters to back Biden.

Was I just imagining that Obama ran on the ACA with a public option in 2008 and Hillary ran on the ACA with a public option in 2016 and this year Biden is running on the ACA with a public option? But Bernie got Biden to commit to a public option? Well, I guess that's politics, but...
