Fauci warns of 'anti-science bias' being a problem in US

Source: CNN

The White House coronavirus task force has been out of public view as President Donald Trump has shown an urgency to move past the pandemic, downplay recent surges in Covid cases in some states, and get Americans back to work.

But the nation's top infectious disease expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, has been warning Americans about the risk of further spread of the virus.

On Wednesday, Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, joined the US Department of Health and Human Services' podcast "Learning Curve" and gave his expertise on the pandemic and the vaccine development process.

He also defended the stay-at-home orders as having saved "millions of lives," and drew attention to anti-science bias and the disproportionate impact the virus is having on the black community.

Where they’re trying to wish it away (perhaps pence is also trying to pray it away. I bet he opens the task force meetings with a prayer)

It's a disease, a virulent aggressive virus to make a fine point... it is not ice, fog, or clouds that just disappear, it breeds, it transmits until immunity, vaccine, or all the potential hosts are dead, period.

Yeah, the problem for us right now is there is no comprehension or desire to know or understand science in the WH because they are AFRAID to look and see how wrong they are. It is easier for them to deny, take no action, and pretend while their ONLY GOAL is Trump's re-election. If they are in a panic good...but just remember what they said about cornered animals.

The GOP is anti-science, anti-thinking, etc unless they can make money off of it.

Speak plainly! No bothsidesism.

REPUBLICANS have a problem with science.
REPUBLICANS have a problem with lying.
REPUBLICANS have a problem with corruption.
REPUBLICANS have a problem with billionaire influence.

No bothsidesism!

Used to work in state government under both Democratic and Republican governors, and the willingness of decision-makers to listen to science too often depended on the politics and optics.

Religion often rears it's ugly head as well. I guess they just can't through to jebus lately, because the corona virus is spreading faster than the word of god. If all else fails maybe they should try the FSM. He's never let me down.

Was it Donny's idea to inject disinfectant into people or his belief that wearing a mask is to signal disapproval of him that clued you in?
