KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WDAF/Tribune/CNN) - A Missouri man who was allegedly plotting a bombing is dead after a shooting incident with the FBI.

Federal authorities said Timothy Watson, 36, was part of a domestic terror investigation because he was preparing an attack on a hospital.ospital that was providing critical care during the current coronavirus pandemic.

11. My theory on what it is - It's privilege

We have people in this country, I'm in this, we do get the short end of the stick, the raw deal. At first when I was told "we have the greatest economy ever because the Dow is the highest ever" even though around this time I was going to bed hungry... some great economy. At first I was in shock, then it turned to outrage.

This is life for some people, you hear of all these great things but where are they for you? You're getting nothing but eviction notices and form reply job rejection responses that make you feel like an interchangeable nobody.

I'm glad I developed a lot of my leftwing/liberal ideas when I was younger before this period of crisis happened and I am glad I have GLBTQ people, Muslims, and an immigrant in my extended family; I don't know what would have happened to me if I didn't have these people and things in my network as well as being smart enough to see what is going on.

Things in our society pass some of these people by - But it's not the immigrant doing it, it's not the transgender person doing it, it's not the Muslim refugee doing it, or the Jewis... er, international banker globalist doing it. It's other white people cutting them out, just richer and more powerful.

And this is where privilege comes into play. These people would rather hold onto a white identity (And as a master status or as a high status to them) and have a misplaced kinship with the exact same people screwing them over and instead attack the 'other', people 'below' them. That way, the problem isn't the system, it's with some of the people in it.

that many supremacists come from abusive homes. They seek scapegoats for their anger and low self-esteem instead of facing their own personal issues. Superiority over people of other ethnic, racial, or socio-economic groups boosts their ego and self-image.

Not much we can do about long entrenched supremacists today except protect people from them, as the FBI is doing. But for the future, intervention in abusive situations will benefit not only the immediate victims, but also society as a whole. It really does take a village to raise a child.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The man shot and killed Tuesday night by FBI agents in Belton was “a potentially violent extremist,” according to new information from the FBI.

FBI agents were executing a warrant Tuesday night in the 100 block of Wilbur Parish Circle and attempting to arrest Timothy Wilson, 36, who was armed during the encounter when he was ultimately shot and killed.

Wilson believed he was picking up a bomb, which didn’t actually exist, during Tuesday’s encounter, which was coordinated with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri.

Marty Feuerborn witnessed the operation.

"I asked them what happened and he said, ‘No I can’t talk about it,' and then I started looking out and it was like one of those shows on TV – black SUVS – it was federal you can tell,” Feuerborn said.
