New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) on Tuesday pleaded with the president of the United States to release 20,000 ventilators that have been stockpiled by the federal government.

During his daily pandemic briefing, Cuomo said that New York needs an additional 30,000 ventilators due to the spike in coronavirus cases.

“The federal government has 20,000 ventilators, or thereabouts, in the federal stockpile,” Cuomo explained. “Secretary [Alex Azar] runs an agency called HHS — Health and Human Services. I asked the secretary, ‘Look at the first word in the title of the agency you run. It is health. Your first priority is health. You have 20,000 ventilators in the stockpile. all kinds of young Iraq/Afganistan combat veterans living in NY city that would LOVE to help out with the "acquisition" of a large number of those ventilators. Hell, the New York National Guard would probably be tickled pink to help out too.........

Someone just needs to tell them where the stuff is being warehoused, and where NY health caregivers need them delivered.
By the time the Feds and Trump even know about it, it will be long over......

You gotta figure, that there are people in both of those groups that have some friend or family member that may have already been diagnosed or are in a high risk group like caregivers.

Truth be known: Trump, D.C.Republican Politicians, and Washington D.C. are probably hoarding them in reserve in case they need them.

I imagine, some time down the line, warehouse after warehouse of a massive amount of medical supplies that we need NOW will be discovered. Thousands of tons of supplies, neatly stacked and ready to be used. You disagree? How about the un-fathomable amount of bottled water found in Puerto Rico a year after the Hurricane??????

This assshole and all his sycophants would love nothing better than NY, California, Washington State and any other Blue State Flounder just like he did with Puerto Rico. Many state governors are not sitting around, but are working night and day to do every last thing they can do without any assistance from the Federal Republican Tyranny.

It is painfully obvious, that this group of Republicans are determined to over rule the experts and call off all precautionary methods that would enable a mass genocide of the seniors/elderly.
