Kevin Durant among four Nets players to test positive for coronavirus

Kevin Durant is among the four Brooklyn Nets players to test positive for coronavirus, he told The Athletic on Tuesday.


"Everyone be careful, take care of yourself and quarantine," Durant told The Athletic, adding that he is feeling fine and not showing any symptoms. "We're going to get through this."

The Nets did not identify any players and said Tuesday that of the four players, only one is exhibiting symptoms. All four are isolated and are undergoing medical care from team physicians, the team said in a statement.

There are literally millions of people who desperately need those tests, and we're testing athletes who are relatively young and in peak health because...?

these people millions and team doctors can get the tests aka connections.

Also, I'm sure players have been exposed to thousands of people over the past month

Life isn't fair and we have a lunatic in The White House

Now that they know they are positive they can self isolate. If they didn't know, they would have been spreading it around.

surmise NBA is testing every player/coach/staff on each team. Remeber these players are "investments" to the owners.

played several other teams in the days before so players throughout the league may have been exposed—which is why the commissioner shut the schedule down. It makes all the sense in the world that all these 100s of players be tested, and if positive, quarantined before they pass it on while living their lives.

Yet apparently in some states you have to be near death for them to even test you. it's too late by then.

self isolate for at least a couple of weeks, probably more. I am going to shut down my small business that I have on weekends.

I really, really, really hate to do it

I interact with a lot of people from all over the country and my gut is telling me, better be safe than sorry

These guys are not fat. There are others factors of course but this is the one I have heard from more than one source.
