The Democrat's statement came days after Gillum was named in a South Florida police report Friday that said he was inebriated" and initially unresponsive in a hotel room along with a male companion where authorities found baggies of suspected crystal methamphetamine.

The Miami Beach police report said Gillum was allowed to leave the hotel for home after he was checked out medically. Gillum said in his statement Sunday night that he resolved to seek help after conversations with his family and deep reflection, calling the decision a wake-up call for me."

At least we police our own. Had he been a Republican, his transgression would have been managed....as long as he voted the Party way.

He had the right combination, looks, articulate, smart.
If he can get the personal stuff straightened out (pun intended), he may be able to make a comeback.
I think the meth hurts more than anything else, IF he was using.

(18 posts)Hes married with children and was in a hotel room with a same-sex escort and meth. This isnt a case of someone drinking too much because he was bummed out about losing an election.
Hes been living a lie. Hopefully for his kids sake he starts to figure things out. Realistically that will take months to even start that sort of self-honesty.
