Trump Declares 'Beginning of the End' For 'Really Pathetic' Fox News

Source: Mediaite

President Donald Trump attacked Fox News on Tuesday, bashing the network for interviewing Democrats, asserting star anchor Chris Wallace should move to “Fake News CNN,” before ultimately declaring “this will be the beginning of the end for Fox.”

In a series of Twitter posts, President Trump singled out Chris Wallace, former anchor Shep Smith, and Sen. Chris Van Hollen’s (D-MD) appearance on the network.

“Really pathetic how @FoxNews is trying to be so politically correct by loading the airwaves with Democrats like Chris Van Hollen, the no name Senator from Maryland,” the president declared. “He has been on forever playing up the Impeachment Hoax. Dems wouldn’t even give Fox their low ratings debates…”

“So, what the hell has happened to @FoxNews. Only I know! Chris Wallace and others should be on Fake News CNN or MSDNC. How’s Shep Smith doing?” he continued. “Watch, this will be the beginning of the end for Fox, just like the other two which are dying in the ratings. Social Media is great!”

the only way he can piss off Murdoch is if the ratings and ad revenue slip.

Still, maybe some of the comments being made by Fox talking heads will get through to some viewers. One can only hope.

Only he's taking FOX News clear to the elbow.

I don't expect any retribution. Trump's demented followers will never switch news sources.

Donald Trump will eventually throw everyone under the bus and then complain that he has no friends. The man is insane.

From the beginning IMO. FOX has been the guiding hand and not the other way around.

What is happening now is the net effect of reality overwhelming FOX news, but NOT Trump. Perhaps Trump gets it but he can not be seen as accepting it as FOX has (to some degree).

THIS: “Watch, this will be the beginning of the end for Fox, just like the other two which are dying in the ratings. Social Media is great!” suggests a change is coming in Trump's influence efforts. My concern is that Russia and others will be playing a big role in an attempt to influence the upcoming elections.

Although I would prefer it if FOX, in its entirety, went down. I refuse to watch ANYTHING on FOX. Period. I must make such great sacrifices... Excuse me while I climb up on my cross...

Then, let him pick another network, maybe RT would be appropriate, but one that does not fall into the "must carry" category that cable services must include in the basic lineup.

Or let him create his own network, and then the FCC (AFTER the election, when a new FCC head is appointed) could still refuse to include it in basic cable.

Even better would be to put his ass (and all his spawn) in jail. Make the "new network" a non-starter.

I also feel like asking him WTF he expected to happen. This had been coming in the GOP for a long time. And Fox has always enabled this kind of behavior.

that even at FOX "News" there has to be some limit. They like to make it look good once in awhile.
