Madison, Wis. – The Friends of Scott Walker campaign launched a petition drive today in the wake of a Dane County Circuit Court judge's decision to strike down Governor Scott Walker's successful budget reforms.

"We are asking Wisconsinites to sign this petition in support of Governor Walker and his reforms that have already saved taxpayers over $1 billion and counting" said Walker campaign communications director Tom Evenson.

Apparently the Governor doesn't believe in the judicial system or our form of government when it rules against him. Act 10 is the Budget Repair Bill = Collective Bargaining.



Walker launches petition drive criticizing judge who ruled against him


Madison -- Gov. Scott Walker continued his attack Thursday on the judge who ruled against his limits on collective bargaining for public workers, launching a petition drive for those who support his changes.

"An activist judge in Madison chose to put politics ahead of your votes by striking down Governor Walker's good government budget reforms," the petition from Walker's campaign says."When the big special interests lose at the ballot box they turn to activist judges to legislate from the bench. The fight to defend the Wisconsin taxpayer is not over, and you have another chance to make your voice heard loud and clear. Please sign this petition today to stand with Governor Walker and his reforms that are working for Wisconsin families."
The petition requires that those signing it include their email addresses and ZIP codes -- information that could help Walker's campaigning and fundraising efforts. He won his June recall election and will be up for re-electionin two years.

Last week, Dane County Circuit Judge Juan Colas issued an order saying major portions of Walker's limits on collective bargaining for public workers were unconstitutional. Walker immediately called Colas a "liberal activist" and sent out a fundraising appeal using that phrase.

2. The new RW thing is that the judiciary is not acting legitimately when it rules on

the constitutionality of laws. If the legislature passed it, or the people voted for it, it cannot be undone by the courts.

After all they had no problem with rulings overturning campaign finance reform meant to stop corruption because they didnt support the law but if they had supported it you would have heard them calling the judges liberal activist judges.
