Just glad more people weren't around, on a holiday weekend d especially. Even the Peters-University area in general is always busy with vehicle traffic as well.

Shook the ground and the car. I got the hell outta there. Yikes! I thought it was a plane crash. The mall is almost directly under the flight path for the airport. Debris blown all over University rd.

Plane crash would likely be anyone else’s guess. One neighbor wrote that she thought she had been rear-ended by a truck. She was on university.

Grew up in a state full of bridges and some large tunnels, thinking about all the over/under passes you might see each week, recall statewide inspections with a ton of them in dire need of repair.

That was over 20 years ago and just 1 state.

We have to deal properly with cities in future flood wipe out spots, and move those whole communities to safety? Costly and inconvenience as excuses for inaction has to take a step off the accelerator and/or party bus and cave to pragmatism! Otherwise dooming a lot of random people in the future to horrific ends.

^same argument should be used on climate change, this inaction aint gonna hunt much longer as the pace accelerates?
