Trump asks lawyers if census can be delayed, calls Supreme Court decision 'totally ridiculous'

Source: The Washington Post

By John Wagner June 27 at 1:58 PM

President Trump said Thursday that he is seeking to delay the constitutionally mandated census to give administration officials more time to come up with a better explanation for why it should include a citizenship question.

Trump’s announcement, in a tweet sent from Japan, came hours after the Supreme Court put on hold his administration’s plan to add a citizenship question to the 2020 Census, saying it had provided a “contrived” reason for wanting the information.

“Seems totally ridiculous that our government, and indeed Country, cannot ask a basic question of Citizenship in a very expensive, detailed and important Census, in this case for 2020,” Trump wrote in his tweet. “I have asked the lawyers if they can delay the Census, no matter how long, until the United States Supreme Court is given additional information from which it can make a final and decisive decision on this very critical matter.”

Trump’s tweet was sent shortly after 2:30 a.m. local time in Osaka, where he is attending a summit with other global leaders.

The most you can do is ask, do you have the legal right to work in this country, or do you require sponsorship?

Roberts just didn't want to be punked like that but give him a better lie and he will conveniently "forget" that it's a lie and vote the way he wanted to all along, giving the Russian Repugs everything they want including the destruction of the constitution.

and then denounces the truth as Fake News

This is a game of credibility.

We have to attack his lies, methods, and strategy - OFTEN and LOUDLY so the public will hear.

We don't need to convince everyone. We need to convince 7% of his supporters

Keep telling these people: Trump is always telling you the EXACT OPPOSITE of what is true
