Source: Washington Post

Former secretary of state Rex Tillerson met privately with members of the House Foreign Affairs Committee last month to discuss the Trump administration’s foreign policy, including issues related to Russia. A redacted transcript of the seven-hour meeting was released Thursday.
This is a developing story. It will be updated.

Tillerson isn't in the family, so naturally Prince Jahhhr-uhhd kept him in the dark. That's the way they play it- all in the family. Trump Organization employees (which is all any of Trump's presidential employees are) are expendable.

For $$$$$$$$$. He is weak, malleable, and sneaky. I'm not surprised about this at all.

He needs to follow in his daddy's footsteps. All the way to prison.

I'm guessing it will happen immediately after he goes to jail, but I could be wrong. For now, she's still waiting to see how it plays out with her Dad. Daddy's will had better be airtight, or she's outta there!

Request changes to marriage laws,
And marry Ivanka - so he can do legally what he dreams about.

I quit buying their product after the Exxon Valdez spill. If everybody had done the same, there would not be an Exxon. And the other oil companies would remember.
But here goes, thanks Rex, for calling the president a fucking moron publicly. Nice work, if you could please do everything you can to tighten the noose, that would be swell, because this fucking moron is still pResident.
And again, thanks, it really was a joy to watch the M$M stumble over that word. A poignant reminder of Lenny Bruce saying "if you can stop me from saying the word fuck, you can stop me from saying "fuck the government"."
If you and the war profiteer can say it, I can say it
Go fuck yourself don the con.

Rex Tillerson vents about Jared Kushner’s secret dealings with foreign leaders

By John Hudson and Josh Dawsey
June 27 at 2:42 PM

In newly disclosed testimony, former secretary of state Rex Tillerson said President Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, operated independently with powerful leaders around the world without coordination with the State Department, leaving Tillerson out of the loop and in the dark on emerging U.S. policies and simmering geopolitical crises.

In a transcript of his testimony to the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Tillerson also described the challenge of briefing a president who does not read briefing papers and often got distracted by peripheral topics, noting he had to keep his message short and focus on a single topic.

“I learned to be much more concise with what I wanted to bring in front of him,” Tillerson told the House panel during a seven-hour session in May.

He stood by his previous characterization that Trump does not dive deep into details and said he learned not to give the president articles or long memos. “That’s just not what he was going to do,” he said.

10. Trump faced 'steep learning curve' on US-Russia policy, immigration: Tillerson
Thu Jun 27, 2019, 07:46 PM
Jun 2019

Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson told lawmakers in May that President Donald Trump faced a “steep learning curve” dealing with the U.S. relationship with Russia and immigration laws, according to a transcript of his closed-door interview released by a House committee on Thursday.

The former ExxonMobil CEO-turned-diplomat’s testimony to the House Foreign Affairs Committee are some of his most candid and extensive comments on his rocky tenure in the Trump administration.

In seven hours behind closed doors with the committee, Tillerson said Trump was “learning a lot along the way” about the United States’ relationship with Russia. He said Trump “didn’t know a lot” about “the legal aspects of the immigration laws or certainly other aspects of how the government operates within the congressional law-making system and oversight.”

On immigration, specifically, Tillerson also said Trump “never asked me to violate the law,” but proposed actions that would have tested his authorities and provoked legal challenges.

“He was very action-oriented: Get it done, get it done, get it done,” Tillerson recalled. “And so just sometimes you had to say: We can’t do that.”
