House Judiciary Committee subpoenas Don McGahn
Source: Axios
The House Judiciary Committee has issued a subpoena for former White House counsel Don McGahn.
Why it matters: McGahn was a key cooperating witness in the Mueller investigation, shedding light on many of the episodes of potential obstruction by President Trump that Mueller highlighted in his report. The subpoena demands that McGahn testify at a hearing on May 21 and turn over dozens of documents related to Mueller's investigation.

House Judiciary Committee subpoenas former White House lawyer Donald McGahn for testimony and documents
By Washington Post Staff
April 22 at 5:18 PM
The move on Monday is part of the panels investigation of whether President Trump obstructed justice.
In a statement, Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), chairman of the committee, said the panel was seeking public testimony from McGahn, describing him as a critical witness to many of the alleged instances of obstruction of justice described in special counsel Robert S. Mueller IIIs report.
This is a developing story. It will be updated.
