President Donald Trump will travel to France for the 75th anniversary of D-Day

Source: USA Today

Surrounded by World War II veterans in the Oval Office, President Donald Trump said Thursday he will travel to France in June to celebrate the 75th anniversary of D-Day.

"I’ll be there,” Trump said of ceremonies in France to commemorate the June 6, 1944 landing of allied forces on Normandy's coast.

Trump met with World War II veterans and their families at the White House on Thursday.

“I want to be like all of you someday,” Trump said.

seems about right. Will his bone spurs heal in time for the trip? Is he only going there to pay his respects to the Germans who died defending the beaches? Does he think he owns a golf course there? Is he going to criticize the beaches name? Is he going to write 'No collusion' in the sand? Is he going to declare ketchup a vegetable (oops - wrong dumb ass president).

Now what lie he tells is to be determined and we'll see how low he can go. It will have to be something that makes him appear remorseful yet heroic. My guess is he'll make up some lie about how much he wanted to serve but was unable to do so due to an injury, (not the bone spurs) and how it always haunted him that he couldn't be there to support some of his classmates who did serve and lost their lives. His one regret is that he wasn't there to save them, because he knew that he could have had he been there, because he was the strongest, fastest, bravest, most fearless guy in his school, and everyone knew it as well and they would tell him that all the time.

Vets have already heard the coward diss the armed forces...How it dissed a special forces
american kia..to his widow..

White House Chief of Staff John Kelly says that he coached Donald Trump on what to say to the widow of a US soldier killed in action, and told him to express to her that her husband had acted honorably in making the decision to accept a dangerous position as a soldier.

Included in the advice was a phrase that has stirred controversy in recent days, and one that Mr Trump has denied he used during the phone call: "He knew what he was getting into."

https://people.com/politics/diaper-donald-trump-jr-new-book/

I've read a handful of books and I haven't come across the nickname for Donald (Sr.) yet. David Cay Johnston (among other authors) has done extensive research and his books don't reveal any nicknames for Don (Sr.). Johnston only says that he attended few classes and had few friends during his college years. He mainly spent most of his time working for Dad because he hoped to take over the family business.

It would be a genuine question, what with his Ku Klux Klan-supporting past and anti-semitic and racist upbringing of Donald. Still, Donald can be there for reconciliation.

Donald Trump 'has trouble finding hotel room at G20 summit'

Donald Trump has reportedly had trouble getting a hotel room for the upcoming G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany.

His team apparently waited too long to book accommodations for the President and his travelling staff and were told none of the major hotels had vacancies, Buzzfeed reported.

However, the Hamburg government's Senate House will reportedly host him, while staff will likely stay at the US Consulate there.
