Trump says GOP will have 'far better' plan than Obamacare

Source: NBC News

The president said Wednesday that the Republicans would provide a superior alternative to the Affordable Care Act, one day after his administration called for it be dismantled.

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump said Wednesday that if the Supreme Court overturns the Affordable Care Act, Republicans will have a policy plan that is “far better."

Obamacare was "far too expensive for the people, not only for the country,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office during a press event Wednesday morning.

Trump also called President Barack Obama’s signature legislation a “disaster” and something “we can’t live with in this country.”

Trump has not provided details yet about what health care plan would replace the Affordable Care Act.

When Hillary Clinton was charged with coming up with a new government-paid healthcare model. Republicans have been griping for more than 20 years, and they have offered nothing in the entire time.

Truth is, Trump and the Republicans don't give a shit about health care. They know that they're rich enough to never have to worry about paying their bills, so everyone else should just fuck off and die. I mean really, have they ever proposed one thing that would help average Americans? They only legislation they've passed were the tax cuts for the wealthy. That tells you all you need to know about what they really care about.

As if people who make $30,000 a year can afford to put money in a health savings account! It reminds me of when Romney was trying to sound like he could relate to the middle class. He said something like "just borrow $20,000 from your parents and start a business." 🙄

As long as the Dems control the House, no Trump/GOP joke of a health care system will ever make it out of Congress.

Clearly this is just a 2020 re-election campaign ploy. He will claim he's in favor "great health care" while providing little to no specifics. And everyone should know by now that whatever details he does cough up, he'll likely renege upon once re-elected (if re-elected).

Fool me once...

The American Health Care Act (AHCA) introduced in the House and voted down
and the Better Care Reconciliation Act (BCRA) introduced in the Senate and voted down.

even though the Republicans were in the majority in both chambers

and I forget how many 10's of millions of people would have lost their health care under each of these bills, according to the CBO estimates.

Exposing the repulsive face of Republican genocide.

January 16, 2017 Fox News

President-elect Donald Trump revealed in an interview with The Washington Post that he’s almost finished with a plan to replace ObamaCare and vowed to have “insurance for everybody."

---

The president-elect insisted that his plan for replacing the Affordable Healthcare Act is all but finished, and added that care would have “lower numbers, much lower deductibles.” He went as far to say that he’s ready to reveal it alongside Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan.

Yup, much lower number of people with insurance,

just like what the CBO projected if the The American Health Care Act (AHCA) (introduced in the House in 2017 and voted down), or the the Better Care Reconciliation Act (BCRA) (introduced in the Senate in 2017 and voted down), had passed.
