Judge asks Roger Stone to explain 'imminent' release of book
Source: The Hill
Republican operative and Trump associate Roger Stone found himself in more legal trouble Friday after a federal judge demanded an explanation as to why he did not disclose the imminent publication of a book that may violate a gag order.
U.S. District Amy Berman Jackson imposed the gag order last week after Stone posted a picture on his Instagram page that put crosshairs over Jacksons head.
The gag prohibits Stone from discussing his case in public, including criticizing Jackson or special counsel Robert Mueller, which the book reportedly does.
It is FURTHER ORDERED that defendant shall file an additional submission by March 4, 2019 identifying the specific date of the imminent general rel[e]ase of the book
and explaining why this matter -- which was known to the defendant -- was not brought to the Court's attention, Jackson wrote in Fridays court order.

The new introduction can be read on Amazon, and it does include derogatory statements about the Mueller investigation, such as how the Deep State has gone after the Trump administration, and Stone has found himself on "Crooked Special Counsel Robert Mueller's target list."

(1,220 posts)After a death threat earned roger stone nothing more than a gag order I don't expect Judge Berman Jackson to react with any more than another slap on the wrist over the release of a book violating her gag order.
I'm beginning to think maybe Judge Berman Jackson has a crush on roger stone. She certainly isn't treating him like the criminal he is.
Just try threatening the life of a federal judge and see how long you remain free.

(507 posts)Manafort basically 'hung' himself on House Arrest. He continued to go against his negotiated plea deal, even went so far as to try and contact witnesses. I'm guessing this Judge is allowing Stone House Arrest in hopes that he'll so something stupid (yup) and speed things along, or Mueller is suggesting she allow Stone enough rope to hang himself.
I think she knows, and Mueller knows they can't keep from breaking the law, and it will only show that's been their intent all along. They're letting him hang himself like Manafort did now, and he's not been disappointing them, and continues to hurt himself moving forward.
