Tom Brady makes history with sixth Super Bowl win
Source: ESPN
ATLANTA -- Quarterback Tom Brady became the first player in NFL history to win six Super Bowls, as the New England Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 in Super Bowl LIII on Sunday night.
Brady finished the night 21-of-35 with 262 yards and one interception.
Brady had been tied with Pro Football Hall of Famer Charles Haley as the only players to win five Super Bowls. Haley was a member of San Francisco 49ers teams that won Super Bowl XXIII and XXIV, and after he was traded to the Dallas Cowboys, he earned three more Super Bowl rings.
Brady now also holds the record for most career wins, with 237. Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri, who is returning for a 24th season in 2019, has 236 career wins.

The youngest and oldest QB to win, and Belichick is the oldest coach to win.

And just couple weeks ago, the Warriors met with Obama instead of Trump. That's pretty political.

(15,290 posts)Ted Wells' report on the deflated footballs found it "more likely than not" that Brady/NE cheated. The "more likely than not" conclusion was derided by many, but that is the legal standard in civil cases even though this was not tried in a court room.
Then we have the spy tape incidents that Goodell covered up and where the evidence (tapes) was destroyed. In the end the full story will be told and the truth will come out.

(8,652 posts)Doesn't seem to have had much effect on Tom.
Brady did not visit the White House 2 years ago. Most think it's because Tom's Wife hates Trump. It will be interesting to see what happens this time.

I mean, it would be no different if both teams had scored 50 points.

(15,290 posts)Blow a puff of breath of either of them and it was a roughing penalty. I recall a game in Philly when an Eagles defender just barely brushed his hand across the side of Manning's helmet and got flagged for a hit to the head. Mind-boggling.
