BRUNSWICK, Ohio History will record that it was 4 degrees below zero when Americas 46th president launched the campaign that won an improbable bid for the White House.
Or not.
Ohio Sen. Sherrod Brown rallied home-state supporters Wednesday night on the eve of heading to Iowa to launch a multi-state Dignity of Work tour that will play a critical role in deciding whether the Democrat formally will join the multitude seeking the 2020 nomination.
We fight for our progressive values. We fight for the dignity of work. Its who we are. Its how we govern. Its how we won. And its how well win in 2020, Brown told more than 300 who showed up despite the deep freeze.

(11,519 posts)Sherrod Brown, Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren, etc., any of whom I'd be thrilled to support in 2020.
And then a few not so great ones (Howard Schultz) who seem to be throwing their name in the ring for personal gain.

(3,275 posts)I'm holding of choosing a candidate to support for a little while. There are some people who may or may not announce their candidacy.
Of course, once we have chosen the democratic candidate, I will do everything I can to get him or her elected.

Pair him with Kamala Harris (will bring in both coasts), top or bottom, and that's a very strong ticket.
