President Trump doubled down on his demand for border wall funding Saturday morning ahead of a meeting with congressional leaders to negotiate an end to the partial government shutdown.

“The Democrats could solve the Shutdown problem in a very short period of time," Trump tweeted early Saturday.

"All they have to do is approve REAL Border Security (including a Wall), something which everyone, other than drug dealers, human traffickers and criminals, want very badly! This would be so easy to do!” he added.

And as soon as more federal workers start refusing to work without pay he'll be screwing millions of Americans. Hopefully enough Senate repubs will see the light and pass a reasonable budget bill.

When terrorists or other criminal sorts demand payment of some sort in exchange for whatever it is that they are holding from someone, that is called ransom or extortion. It is time that the Dems start screaming that Trump is a terrorist of the highest order for what he is doing with the shutdown. Demanding $5 billion+ which is only the beginning of his demand is worthy of criminal charges, which is highly unlikely. I don't believe that there have been words created yet that describes Trump, and his behavior.
RANSOM IS WHAT IT MUST BE CALLED FROM THE HIGHEST ROOFTOPS !!

Why didn't you put the money in the budget motherfucker?

Where are the details of how the money is going to be spent, motherfucker?

Ask the Saudis or Putin to fund the wall since Mexico turned you down.

He HAS to win this one or he loses everything as far as his thinking goes. He has the Repugnant side in line (mostly) and now needs to do the same with the Dems.

Wifey's cousin responded to her FB post about the government shut down by blaming Dems. Female cousin proudly pointed out to Wifey that Mexico was already paying for the wall through that new trade deal. Wifey replied if that was true why was Trump asking for $5B funding from Congress? No reply to Wifey's comment for a couple of days now. Known Wifey for almost 30 years now, she's a smart woman. This is nothing more than Alpha-Male posturing.

If tRump's "The Art of the Deal" is holding a nation hostage. I think that is a two year old bully throwing a tantrum. No wonder he had so many bankruptcies and business failures. Yet so many Americans bought the used car sales pitch and, believe it or not, still support that failure!

Because we democrats are compassionate people, sometimes the suffering will make us wanting to end it.

I suggest a counter proposal of adding several of our demands to a bill and give the clown his 5.3 billion -- it will be a great bargain to get all the restrictions to Obamacare they have created plus DACA plus voting rights act modifications for the price.

so called wall, but he could get his tax break. Go figure as to what is important to him and no one else.

Maybe it's about time that folks started bypassing him for any kind of responsible government since he's not going to do it (he is unable to, simple as this). He's incapable of doing so. Thus, our representatives need to remove him. Plain and simple.

That 5.6 billion wall funding will immediately expire as soon as he signs or lets it sit on it for 10 days with no action.

Just make sure Trump doesn't see that part, and problem is solved.
