Nooses, hate signs found at Mississippi State Capitol

State Capitol police took the nooses and signs down and are investigating.

JACKSON, MS (WLBT) -Two nooses and several hate signs were found hanging at the Mississippi State Capitol Monday morning around 7:15 a.m.

State Capitol police took the nooses and signs down and are investigating.

Capitol police would not show the signs or surveillance video while they are actively investigating. Police say they are reviewing surveillance video of the grounds to see who hung it there.

Considering her recent behavior, precedent call for POTUS to stay far away to avoid giving the wrong message. But no, Trump’s message is clear.

Check out the photo on the bottom -- look at the rectangular sign in the lower right corner -- white sign, blue letters that reads FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH SANCTUARY.

I suspect a church member put up the nooses after leaving Sunday night service.

I was born and reared in Mississippi as a Southern, a Democrat, and a Baptist. I'm still a Democrat.

5. It was a hoax

Some sort of misguided protest by a Democratic official.

There never was a mystery as to who did it or why. The signs stated they were put up as a reminded that there is still racism in MS.

Stupid reporting and stupid act.
