Disillusioned Obama Supporter In Romney Ad Is Actually GOP Staffer
Source: Talking Points Memo
Republicans debuted a new ad Thursday in which a frustrated former Obama supporter expresses her disappointment with the president. The only problem: The woman in the video is actually an RNC staffer.
The new ad features Republican National Committee Director of Hispanic Outreach Bettina Inclan, who in the ad purports to be an average woman voter who supported Obama in 2008. She describes her disillusionment with the president in the ad as a romantic relationship gone awry.
Youre just not he person I thought you were, Inclan says in the ad, addressing a cardboard cutout of Obama. Inclan lists out-of-control spending and Obamas penchant for hanging out with Hollywood celebrities as reasons for the break-up. Its not me, its you. I think we should just be friends.
...................
The RNC says its ad, which first appeared on television Thursday is not dishonest.

The party that says they represent all "good" Christians sure does a lot of lying.

RIP Senator Bentsen.

(15,438 posts)I was never pressured to be a Republican, but I am very much a fiscal conservative, Inclan told Business Insider in May. It might be because we were always on a very tight budget growing up. Or maybe my views of the world fall in line with the Republican Party.
Does she sound like someone who would have voted for President Obama in 2008?
Sometimes, just following a link to read the rest of the story helps clarify a lot of confusing unknowns that are not included in an excerpt you choose to respond to.

(285 posts)the GOP goes one step further. Let them have the ones silly enough to think complicated problems would be solved in a few years like magic, without any sacrifice on their parts. Of course, with all the anti woman legislation their gang has been churning out under cover of "states rights", we should stop being surprised.
