Romney won't watch Obama's speech

Source: Politico

So he tells the traveling press in New Hampshire, according to the pool report:

Romney then turned away from the pool and began posing for photos and chatting with supporters. Your pooler shouted a question about whether he’d watched Bill Clinton’s speech Wednesday night.

“Haven’t watched so far,” Romney replied as he was moving toward his motorcade.

Sam Youngman shouted, “Are you going to watch tonight?”

“Uh, don’t plan on it,” Romney said.

The candidate then turned to walk again toward his motorcade but then paused and expanded on his answer to Sam:

“I heard, or from the excerpts that are put out, I hear that the president is going to report on the promises he made and how he has performed in those promises; I'd love to watch it. But if it's another series of new promises that he's not going to keep, I have no interest in seeing him because I saw the promises last time. Those are promises he did not keep, and the American people deserve to know why he did not keep his promises."

I guarantee you, President Obama heard and attended to Rmoney's speech. Intellectual curiosity, smarts, class, and common sense.

there had been an ounce of bipartisanship, our President would have been able to help a lot more americans than he did with ACA. Republicans know that they will benefit from it also, in spite of rethug lies. I just hope enough vote for our man to overcome voter suppression in 36 states. The last I heard on Stephanie Miller this morning on Current TV. Whopping lies and their own fear at losing is the only driving force behind this rethug nominee. Down with the rethugs, up with class, Go Obama!!!!

Here is a man allegedly more successful at business than his Republican predecessor. Bush and Romney, both born on 3rd base due to successful daddies. It's starting to be scarily obvious that Mitt is far enough from bright to make W. look like Carl Sagan. It's clear he was only a business figurehead due to his name. At first I thought he was just missing human-interaction smarts. It's now obvious that, left without supporters, he doesn't even have enough intelligence to look after his own best interests.

It is scary how arrogant the repugs are this days - the opponent who also happened to be the US president is making is speech tonight - and he doesn't care about it?... If it was me, I would have sited glued to the TV. And have the staff writing key notes together with me, so we could build on it..

He just sound arrogant - and stupid... plain and simple...

Generally he will have to listen to the other side in order engage effectively.

"Those are promises he did not keep, and the American people deserve to know why...."

Had he listened to Bill Clinton's speech, he would be aware the that issue was rationally addressed and competently tied to Republican Congressional obstruction! Not listening will not rebut Clinton's contention!

His intellectual curiosity reminds me a lot of W.
