President Donald Trump is at Mar-a-Lago today on Thanksgiving eve, and based on his writing, it appears he’s spending time live-tweeting Fox News.

Charles Payne, filling in for Neil Cavuto, spoke with Hector Garza, border patrol agent and National Border Patrol Council vice president, about the White House approving the use of force and for troops at the border to “engage in some law enforcement roles.”

Garza praised the President’s move and said they’re appreciative of the help, saying no president has done this before. At one point during the segment, Garza said there are “a lot of criminals in this caravan.” Payne picked up on that and asked to clarify if they have confirmed there are criminals in the caravan. Garza said, “There should be no speculation… We do have confirmed information that there are numerous criminals in this caravan.”

And––not that the President watching Fox News should be a surprise to anyone––Trump tweeted about the segment:

It has now been revealed that the United States government had paid spies and informers embedded in the caravan. In the tradition of following the money and who benefits, I believe the caravan was first organized by Trump and his operatives.

Many years ago I was a College Young Republican who supported Roger Stone when he ran for mid-west federation chairman. He taught us ANY dirty trick or falsehood was acceptable in politics. If it worked it was great. Roger Stone taught Donald Trump everything he knows about politics.

Think about the timing of the caravan. It was perfect for maximum impact on the midterm elections. Think about how big it was. It was not a couple of hundred people, as you would expect, it was thousands. On TV it was a river of people who could be made to look very menacing. Most of the leaders interviewed on TV were young healthy men, not women, and children who would evoke sympathy. After the election, they just melted away. Think about it. Look into it.

If the caravan has 50 felons let’s swap. Well take their caravan if they agree to take one of ours.

Some nuns are murderers. A town of one million has 40 murderers. A million nuns move there including 10 murderers. Now there are 50 murders. But the risk of being murdered has fallen from 40 out of a million to 50 out of two million. We have more murders but each individuals risk of being murdered is lower than before the nuns arrived. Same with immigrants, both legal and illegal. They have a lower crime rate native born Americans do. So more crimes happen but the odds of being a crime victim decline.

12. The most important reason NOT to Split up the 9th Circuit

The most important reason NOT to Split up the 9th Circuit has to do with Border Security. The coastal border.

The 9th Circuit is comprised of (I think 9?) western states, (plus Hawaii, Guam, NMI) which gives a contiguous set of laws for the legal management of the entire west coast ports of entry.

There has been efforts for years and years going back to split up the 9th. But it would be very costly. Each Circuit has to have several types of offices for the day-to-day management of the federal courts. So now instead of one, there will be 2 more of everything that would have to be paid for. i.e.: 2 more Circuit Libraries, 2 more of everything. It would triple the current budgetary costs.

Furthermore, there is no way to split it proportionally (based on # of cases) without actually splitting an individual state between 2 Circuits! (California, of course has the highest caseloads).

And that is where we get to the meat of the matter behind the push to split the Circuits. Divide and Conquer. They want to split up California into two or three separate Circuits which could have an effect similar to what they do with the gerrymandering of Districts to weaken the Democratic influence in elections.
