Hit with a lawsuit by CNN for pulling Jim Acostas press pass, the White House said Tuesday it plans to fight back claiming the legal move is all for show.
We have been advised that CNN has filed a complaint challenging the suspension of Jim Acostas hard pass, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement. This is just more grandstanding from CNN, and we will vigorously defend against the lawsuit.
The White House contends that CNN had enough other reporters with press credentials gaining them White House access, and that Mr. Acosta is no more or less special than any other media outlet or reporter with respect to the First Amendment.
Recapping the events of a recent press conference in which Acosta persisted in asking questions to President Donald Trump, the White House argued the reporters behavior was uncalled for.

(5,591 posts)Shit about what is good for the country, the citizens and gives respect to the Constitution and the Rule of Law, instead of gleefully pandering to and enabling a putrid, infantile, egomaniac, mentally deficient, grossly incompetent, mediocre reality-show buffoon...
Then maybe sane, intelligent, nation-loving, country respecting people will give a shit about what they spew on an hourly basis.

(24,703 posts)you and your bunch of lackey's do not own the white house, let me repeat that, you and your lackeys' do not own the white house, you do not have the authority to bar reporters into the white house, the public owns the white house, we can say who and what can go into the white house to find out what the renters are doing in the white and ask questions, since about 99.99% of the public cannot be there to do that for us.........................
What part of the renters agreement do you not understand, the the First Amendment.......................
By the way November 3, 2020 cannot get here fast enough.................are your bags packed yet...............
