White woman charged after harassing black women turns herself into police

A North Carolina white woman who harassed two black women while they waited for AAA road-side assistance has turned herself into police, according to NBC News affiliate WCNC.

Susan Westwood, 51, turned herself in to the Sunset Beach Police Department on Saturday.

She was then transferred to the Brunswick County Sheriff's Department where she was served with an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for misuse of the 911 system, in addition to four criminal summons, according to WCNC.

An officer at the Brunswick County Sheriff's Department confirmed to NBC News that Westwood had been in custody but was released. He was unable to provide any additional details.

MURDERED is UNWORTHY of mercy. As a BLACK WOMAN, I have no mercy for someone who knows that acting the way she was acting toward two people who weren't causing ANY problems, issues, etc. She KNEW tht if she were to call the police on them, there'd be MUCH more than a equal chance that the outcome would be fatal for the darker skinned women. I'm using some personal experience in my thoughts. A long time ago I was in a position and I was making $$ hand over fist. I was making it for so long I felt it was OWED to me and a part of me became cocky.

I was never a millionaire but I was more then comfortable.

Drugs and alcohol got me. Suddenly my cash flow stopped dead.

Believe me, it's going to hit her REAL hard the first time she hits the ATM to withdraw cash and her card is declined. Not that I've ever been there...

If drugs and alcohol are part of her issues. It is actually very conceivable that they played a role. Drugs/alcohol actually degrade your cognitive thinking after a period of time.

I've reflected back several times and thought to myself "what the FUCK was I thinking!!"

The hatred and racism does reveal something about her core beliefs, there's a chance many of those core beliefs my have been taught to her from a young age.

Either way, my point was, I don't think we have to punish her in our thoughts. Life will take care of that, she'll either wither and die or overcome and grow.
