Despite significant and bipartisan criticism for irresponsible and dangerous rhetoric that critics have described as fear-mongering, Trump is hitting the same “be afraid of the Caravan” note on Twitter this morning.

These tweets came the morning after the Commander in Chief and First Lady returned from a somber visit to the Pittsburgh synagogue that saw 11 worshipers murdered by an unhinged individual that parroted right-wing rhetoric calling this mass of migrants “invaders.”

Depending on reports one follows, the caravan is comprised of roughly 3,500 Central Americans that are roughly 1,000 miles from the southern U.S. border and are traveling by foot. By most accounts, they won’t arrive at the United States for at least six to eight weeks.

I've never even heard of gang members who would walk 2500 miles; braving the searing heat and sun, as well as torrential rains; and relying solely on the charity of locals to run for their lives. Gang members are criminals and criminals are lazy.

These asylum seekers are more likely to fall victim to gang members than to be them, so the Orange Menace is at best judging the migrants by himself.

TRUMPS CLAIMS OF ISIS FIGHTERS IN CARAVAN CALLED BULLSHIT BY GUATAMALAN JOURNALIST

With help from the google I found.......this , mentioned in Prensa Libre, a Guatemalan newspaper.

Guatemalan President Jimmy Morales makes unverified claim of capturing and deporting 100 ISIS fighters in meeting with Vice President Pence while asking for billions in border security $$. and if they deported all the ISIS fighters how'd they get in the caravan? These people are bad liars.

Prensa Libre adds, Healthy skepticism is warranted here. (Guatemala happens to have requested $15 billion in border security assistance, and President Morales is laboring under accusations of corruption).

Today, I asked a journalist friend of mine, who is a Guatemalan citizen and covers the country, what he thought about the report. He didn't mince words in an email:

"All of the journalists down here believe that this is bullshit, and Morales is just trying to look good to Pence, Trump, and the U.S., but there hasn't been any reporting or news regarding this issue in Guatemala. Since most of us cover the interior ministry and the police, and they always make a big show whenever they capture someone, we think it's bullshit."
