O'Rourke yard signs set on fire outside Dallas
Source: The Hill
Several campaign yard signs for Rep. Beto ORourke (D-Texas) were set on fire in Dallas suburb this week.
Five signs, all in support of Democratic candidates including ORourke, were set ablaze Monday night, according to the Dallas Morning News. ORourke is looking to unseat Sen. Ted Cruz (R) on Nov. 6 in the Texas Senate race.
All the vandalized signs were located in the same neighborhood and reported to the police in roughly the same time period.
Yard signs for Colin Allred, a Democrat challenging Rep. Pete Sessions (R) for a House seat, were also set on fire.

(3,193 posts)Someone always gets the bright idea to steal, knock down, or wreck the signs of the politician they don't like. It happened to both Trump and Hillary signs in 2016. Apparently some folks on both sides of the aisle never learned that if it doesn't belong to you, don't touch it.
I don't recall ever hearing about someone torching a sign, though. I hope they catch the person or people behind this, because they might have easily burned someone's home down.
