Saudi crown prince 'phoned Khashoggi at the consulate right before he was killed'
Source: The New Arab
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman reportedly spoke on the phone with journalist Jamal Khashoggi moments before he was murdered in the kingdom's consulate in Istanbul.
Turkish pro-government daily Yeni Safak revealed new alleged details of the case in a report on Sunday, contradicting claims by Saudi authorities that Prince Mohammed played no part in Khashoggi's murder.
"Khashoggi was detained by the Saudi team inside the consulate building. Then Prince Mohammed contacted Khashoggi by phone and tried to convince him to return to Riyadh," the report said.
"Khashoggi refused Prince Mohammed's offer out of fear he would be arrested and killed if he returned. The assassination team then killed Khashoggi after the conversation ended," it added...

(7,142 posts)is Steve Pieczernik. He is a buddy of Alex Jones and Roger Stone, I have a stinking feeling he is involved. Anyhow, I went to his youtube site and listened to his latest propaganda. It was all about Kushner, about how stupid he is, about how he did nothing but get Trump in trouble, about how Trump should can him.
So if this is coming from a Trump crony, I'm guessing the American prince is dumber than a box of rocks.

Like bad burlesque, Prince BS thought he could just waltz onto sovereign soil, murder a man - not to mention dismember his body and take it out in an over-sized suitcase (like no one could possibly notice) - and just walk away . . . . passive.
These guys have been watching bad spy movies.

(14,494 posts)This case demonstrates how vulnerable the world's oligarchs are to the exposure of their dark underbelly, with each of them pulling international strings of power in their own interest. It's a nasty, complex web of corruption, crime, and hidden assets shielded from public view.
In the public's interest, let's hope many of them self destruct and eat more of their own kind......

(6,831 posts)We have some of the MOST sophisticated and sensitive surveillance gear on Earth. Of course, they were listening. What appalls me is that Khashoggi was NOT informed of the danger he was in. If trump refused to allow US intel to inform him - which they have a moral obligation to do - then he is complicit in this.
FFS, the FBI even notified John Gotti when hits were out on him.
Trump is a murdering son of a bitch. And he should be held accountable for his (non) actions in this savage and barbaric act of terrorism.
