Man dumps Mitch McConnell's to-go box on Bardstown Road, witness says

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell had a rough night at Havana Rumba.

The Kentucky senator was heckled Friday night at the popular Cuban restaurant on Bardstown Road.

At one point, a man took McConnell's to-go box off the table, opened the door to Bardstown Road and dumped the food on the sidewalk, according to Casey Leek, who saw the encounter while dining at the restaurant Friday night.

A video acquired by TMZ posted Saturday morning shows a man yelling at the senator and his wife, Secretary of Transportation Elaine Chao.

Sen. Mitch McConnell was confronted by angry constituents at a Cuban restaurant in Louisville Friday night.

“Why don’t you get out of here?” a man screamed at the Senate Majority Leader in the video obtained by TMZ. “Why don’t you leave the entire country?”

The woman who recorded the video at the Havana Rumba restaurant told TMZ that “the main aggressor slammed his fists down on McConnell’s table, grabbed his doggie bag and threw the food out the door of the restaurant” before she began filming.

She added that the diner cited the senator’s stance on Social Security and health care as his main issues.

With a folksy Mcconnel looking so innocent sitting there in average joe clothes in an average joe restaurant ...and ..a doggie bag as we all know ..waste not want not even for a wealthy senator. Poor guy can't even eat in peace after declaring he plans on dooming the poor and elderly to pay for his huge tax cut. Plans to strip and take away the benefit plans that come out of your paycheck every month. After putting a hard right wing drunken frat boy on the supreme court after denying Obama's pick a vote.

Where was the restaurant staff??

This is something they do..lie and cheat and mislead is their modus operandi ..they have already declared it their intention to paint the Dems as unhinged.

Paid actors and shills will do the trick. I hope this is looked into and they find this guy ..something tells me they won't...

9. This whole thing stinks of a bullshit setup.

For one thing, this restaurant, as I understand, was more like a Bennigan's or aT.G.I. Friday's, something the uberwealthy Mr. and Mrs. Tortoise have never been in and would never even deign to darken the door of. And then they go there, and this just happens in front of as many witnesses with cameras as possible.

Secondly, the dude's histrionics and actions were something straight out of a seventh-grade drama class. It looked like something you'd see in a bad dinner mystery theater in Logan, UT.
